road to oblivion

it had been a while since i had ventured out of my roost, so we went on a long drive off the coast to hit the hilly country of the land called the western ghats... its the part of the ancient hillrange covering the western region of south india....
as we tackled the hot humid climate of the coast to this haven of cool air on our faces, the calm of the hills disturbed by the horns of the vehicles... not many u can find though...
we followed the winding roads with the hair pin curves to the top of the hills... from lush green tropical vegetation through the mountainous land the difference of just metres....
we stopped in a calm to take a few whiff of purified sanity in this rush world... it was breathtaking....

when all this were over we took to our legs... jammed the gas and took offf on the dusty road
to yet another warm place in the heart....... best time to do this trip ll b anytime bw jan to june... afterwards beware of the thick mists which rules the tops...

lessons on a hot day...

well its starts off like just another beautiful morning with all the goody positive attitude..... like usual this was just another day.... but since it was the march 11th.. it became something different... all geared up for my 3rd step towards the goal ie getting my medical degree, it turned out to b one crucial step to one big leap...

it was the first time u really have an interaction with the people... the real ppl who in need of ya attention.. those places where the income is below standards,we had to do this house surveys in a dept called social and community medicine popularly psm, its really shocking & surprising to c them actually surviving it.

one thing is certain far life all u need is courage and will to live your existence learnt it from that instant...
