the road from manali to rohtang pass.. its beautiful yet treacherous....

the ever present shifting FOG of the month of sept...

the small valley rivers... making of the river BEAS...

base of the mountain pass the hamlet of Marhi...

somewhere between the for and clouds at approx 12000ft above sea level.

the caravan of vehicles.. only road in INDIA yet where chaos in driving doesnt take place.. yet...

makeshift tents in the rohtang pass...

the pass and horses... fog takes the beauty out of it.. yet at -4degrees... bliss to be there...

at the top... 14000ft in rohtang, damn the foggy conditions.. but amazing himalayan experience... next plan ladakh.. cheers...
